W. Hayes St. Water Main Construction

Upcoming Parking Requests

The Village has an upcoming project to replace the water main on W. Hayes Street (St. Rt. 571) starting at the intersection of N. Miami Street continuing west to Milton-Potsdam Road. This project will be a benefit to all residents in the area. This project is looking to increase water flow throughout and help to solve some water flow and fire flow issues that have been ongoing for a long time. We have two requests for residents in that area.

The Village is requesting residents to NOT park on Hasket Road for the duration of the project. W. Hayes Street is scheduled to be closed beginning around April 22nd, with the project scheduled to be completed by early to mid-July 2024.

The Village is requesting residents who park on Hamilton Street to NOT park on the NORTH side of the road for the duration of the project. W. Hayes Street is scheduled to be closed beginning around April 22nd, with the project scheduled to be completed by early to mid-July 2024.

With buses and the increase in traffic on your street, the village is looking at increasing safety for pedestrians and residents while reducing accidents or incidents that may be caused to any parked cars during this detour time frame.

If you have any questions, please contact the Village Office (www.westmiltonohio.gov/contact). We will continue to update our Village website and Facebook page with more information as the Village receives it.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
