OEPA Service Line Identification Information

Resident’s of the Village may have received a letter to identify their water service line. The Village is required by the OEPA to send these letters to help identify the lines correctly and report them. These letters are sent by a 3rd party to anyone who identified the lines as galvanized or unknown. If you did not receive a letter that simply means your water service line has been identified as far as the material the line is made out of, and you do not need to do anything further. For those that did receive the letter, if you are able to identify the material your water service line is made up of, please do so and then contact the Village office so we can document it and update our files. If you are in need of assistance with identifying the material, please contact us here at the office and we will set up a day/time for someone to come to your residence.

Please note that there is nothing wrong with the water in the Village, there is no contamination, and it is safe for residents to drink.
